Behind the Build | Ep. 1: Our Decision to Build

Mils and Jo Muliaina are beginning an exciting new chapter: building their dream family home in Waihi Beach. 

After purchasing the property in 2020, they made the big decision to demolish the existing house and start again. Their goal is to create a home where they can raise their children, bring family and friends together, and enjoy everything the Waihi Beach lifestyle has to offer.

In Episode 1 of Behind the Build, Mils and Jo share what led them to build from the ground up and what they hope to achieve with their new home.

The series will follow the entire Waihi Beach home-building journey, including the design process, council requirements, construction, financial decisions and the inevitable challenges along the way.
