The Mortgage Hub was founded by Vinnie McClafferty and Mils Muliaina, who first became friends at high school and later combined their shared passion for helping people achieve financial success.
With years of experience in banking and lending, Vinnie had developed extensive knowledge of the home loan industry. During his professional rugby career, Mils discovered a passion for property investment and experienced firsthand the opportunities that smart financial decisions can create. Following his retirement from rugby, he became a qualified Financial Adviser, bringing together his passion for property, people, and financial wellbeing.
Together, they launched The Mortgage Hub with a simple vision: to provide honest, personalised advice that puts people first.
What began as a boutique mortgage advisory business has grown into a trusted financial advice firm, helping thousands of New Zealanders navigate life's biggest financial decisions.
